CNC Punching:

A CNC punch machine is the norm in most precision sheet metal engineering and fabrication workshops. The TruPunch 3000 is a CNC punch machine that punches through sheet metal with precision and speed. Dropped through the middle of the machine, punched pieces are ready for further operations.

At Symetrix, our Punch machine is matched with loading-unloading of the sheet which makes the whole process automated and seamless.

Fabrication:

Aligning the pieces correctly is one of the most important steps in metalwork at the starting stage itself. To form a complete unit, welders tack-weld pieces together, once the pieces are aligned. Tack welding is a process of small and temporary welds holding all the pieces together. Here, the welder mid-tack welds (pinning) the joints before the unit is completely welded.

Our Punching machine can produce 1200 hits per minute and removing pieces automatically. With this and an automated sheet metal storage unit, we have 24/7 production capability. Although this machine requires regular maintenance, she can work day and night to keep producing and performing.

Laser cutting sparks

The laser cutter produces a spark when it interacts with the mild steel. This is because the carbon deposits in the metal are heated up by the laser, causing an effect of sparking. However, this sparking doesn’t happen all the time.

The arc of the welding torch is a startling and sometime potentially blinding sight. There is a warning call before the welding process begins to protect eyes from this light. The warning is often heard 10-times per minute in heavy work areas, considering safety first!

The CNC punch machine operates all day, making precise cuts with the use of a punch head that moves up and down. The punch head concentrates on the metal while the sheet below in the horizontal and vertical direction, accurately placing it in its correct position
