Metal shelf racking is durable, cost-efficient, and versatile! These can be spotted in supermarkets, shopping centres, or DIY stores. It’s also very durable, cost-effective, and multipurpose. They are sturdy and usually don’t break easily when layouts are changed or when it gets bumped or stepped on. We manufacture a large range of metal racking that you’ll find as metal shelving in many stores and shopping centres.
The welding team uses a CAD-designed jig to speed up production of the shelving brackets. Each shelving bracket is placed into the jig, and the sides of the box section tube to the hook that will be placed on a shelving wall are MIG welded with systematic precision.
Once these parts are welded together, they go through finishing and polishing departments further going straight to the powder coating plant to be coated in the Stores’ chosen colour theme.
In order to paint over welds, the finishing team would need to grind down burrs or mask them off. But due to the skilled MIG welding these parts seem hidden and as the tight bond between the box section and hook is essential, these are left as they are for painting
